A big thanks to Jake who was the only person on the TNR with the steady hands and the initiative to save some images from the ride. I am tempted to quote Dickens. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Sometimes bad weather makes the experience more memorable, maybe even more fun. Tony picked the route tonight. The plan was to ride between and around the various small storm systems. That worked pretty well for the first twenty minutes or so. At that point we encountered precipitation in every one of its possible forms; solid, liquid, and semi-solid. As evidenced by the photos, we were forced to take shelter during the worst of the storm. The remainder of the ride was absolutely beautiful riding in and out of smaller storms and random patches of bright sunlight.
