Chick-a-Saw Is on the Calendar for Saturday June 14th

This gravel ride has been an annual tradition since Jeff first put the route together perhaps a dozen years ago. Starting and finishing at Sawtelle Mountain Resort it is an epic hard ride, 60 miles and over 5000 feet of climbing including Chick Creek Road and Sawtell Peak (yes, spelling is different than the resort).
If you want less fun/suffering, consider riding the first half and omitting the Sawtell climb.
If you are interested in going, please contact Jeff or me to coordinate logistics.

Congratulations to Ryan Edge on a Great Angry Horse

This gravel race has been around for a while but it has never worked out for me to participate until this year.
It was a great event, well organized and well supported.  Most of the locals did the short course, 46 miles and about 4100 feet of climbing. It was super fun, surprisingly scenic, and plenty hard.
Will Hatch was the top finisher in the 70 mile long course with a stellar time of just over 4 hours.

Getting Close to the Start of the TNR

With the change to Daylight Savings Time this weekend, The Tuesday Night Ride is just around the corner.
The forecast for next Tuesday, March 11th is grim with an 80% chance of wet snow accompanied by high winds in the afternoon. We will plan on a ride Tuesday if the forecast improves, but at the moment it appears that the first TNR of the 2025 season will be Tuesday, March 18th at Sled Shed.
