A few comments may be in order here. This is not a political blog and will never be one, except to advocate for the rights and safety of cyclists. I am not in full agreement with John Burke on every one of the 12 points in his "inaugural address" but I have included it here because he is a very smart, reasonable guy who brings the perspective of a CEO in the bicycle industry to some of the problems that we are facing as a nation.
