This is kind of a last minute thing, but we are thinking about a Fish Creek ride on Saturday. I need to be back by about 2 p.m., so departure time from Rexburg will be 7 a.m. I am planning to start at Bear Gulch and ride to the top of the Fish Creek pavement returning by way of Baker Draw and Warm River (gravel). Hopefully we will have enough participation to have a road/gravel group as well as a road only group. We can help coordinate transportation. If you are interesting in going, please contact me or Jeff by tomorrow afternoon. Here is the basic plan:
- Depart from Sticks and Stones at 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
- Begin ride at Bear Gulch by 8 a.m. For everyone, Bear Gulch is the best place to start with an easy descent to Warm River. It is not a great place for the roadies to finish. If we do have a road group, my plan is for you to leave a car at Warm River for the finish and to get a ride to the start at Bear Gulch with the gravel guys.
- Lunch at 5:11 for anyone who is interested weekend crowds and time constraints permitting.
