Cancelling the TNR is always a tough decision, but in light of Governor Little’s emergency declaration and shelter-in-place order we need to put the TNR on hold for a while.
As a matter of personal safety, I think we are probably OK continuing to ride. But at this moment in time, social distancing is one of very few options that we have to limit the spread of the covid pandemic. It sends a bad message when people (small businessmen, medical professionals, and others) who are making sacrifices see a group of a dozen cyclists out on the road happy and oblivious.
Personally, I plan to get in some solo rides as my schedule allows, and from time to time ride with one or two other people, but avoid organizing group rides until the situation normalizes. Dave
