What an amazing country! We had the good fortune to visit the Alentejo region of Southeast Portugal--a beautiful area of rolling hills, medieval villages, cork forests, vineyards, and marble quarries.
If you are looking for a DIY adventure, this is not your trip. But if you want the luxury of dropping into an exotic location with every logistical detail dialed to perfection, consider Trek Travel. The accommodations, meals, sightseeing, guides (Luis, Sara, and Luis II), and support were all outstanding.
Trek offers a range of trips from the epic, such as climbs of the Grand Tours, to recreational trips like Portugal and smaller. Nine members of sixteen in our tour group opted for e-bikes which helped level the playing field among riders with a range of fitness and abilities.
