From Tim Meikle: Kelly Canyon to Lyons Creek

Actually, I think Tim, like Randy and some of the old-timers, prefers ‘Lyman Creek”.  Kelly Canyon to Lyons Creek from Rexburg with a few bonuses like Squire Dugway thrown in is one of the best rides in the Rexburg area. Just under fifty miles and typically a little over three hours, the ride features a decent amount of climbing, gravel, and scenery. I have only recently been riding with a Garmin and discovered that the climb to Kelly Canyon touches 12% briefly and the steepest parts of Squire Dugway are at 14%. The weather was perfect yesterday, cool but not too cool. The gravel sections will not be smoother all year.
