The Pocatello ride is a long standing annual tradition for Upper Valley cyclists. Our 2018 ride will be this Saturday, May 26th. Departure time from Rexburg is 6:30 a.m. The ride starts at 8 a.m. at the Visitor Information Center between 4th and 5th Streets at the south end of Pocatello.
The Ride is just over 70 miles with over 7000 feet of vertical in four big climbs. On John's suggestion, we are going to alter our traditional sequence to more closely match the 4 Peaks Gran Fondo. The sequence this year will be Crystal, Scout Mountain, Pebble Creek, and Buckskin.
Everyone is welcome to join for the full distance or any variation. Several people have talked about skipping Pebble Creek, the most difficult time of the four. You are welcome to drive yourself to the start or to contact me for help in setting up car-pooling from Rexburg.
