What Tate Did Saturday

While the rest us were goofing off on the cross bikes, Tate had some real work to do. He narrowly missed the podium (5th place) in the men’s pro/1/2 field at the Mt. Charleston Hill Climb near Las Vegas. The numbers for this road race are truly staggering: 17.5 miles, 5045 feet of vertical gain, average gradient of 6-8%, Tate’s time 1:27
