It was another great day at Rebecca’s Private Idaho. Local participants described it as a fun and amazing ride. Dan and Shae were interested in doing the Big Potato, but I begged Dan to do the Small Fry (which is still 60 miles and includes the very tough climb up Trail Creek Pass) so that he could save his legs to drag me through Lotoja in 6 days. By the time they got to the half way point, Shae decided she might as well win the whole thing and set off on a successful pursuit of the leaders. She was rewarded for her victory by a gift from one of the sponsors, a big bottle of patron Tequila. A big congratulation is in order as well to Cobe Miller who won the junior division of the Big Potato for the second consecutive year.
